Hiring is a constant problem for professionals to date, with increased applicants as a result of a shaky economy; it is hard for companies to pick the best candidate. Smaller companies are at even more of a disadvantage since they may lack the funds, and tools available to larger businesses. For that reason, research was conducted via LinkedIn to determine if a systematic hiring practice would be a beneficial tool for smaller businesses. The research also yielded potential components for the hiring process framework as well. Ultimately, from the research endeavor, a systematic hiring process was determined to be a beneficial venture for small businesses, as long as it includes an application, interview and job-fit assessment.
